Bio: Howdy! This is my 6th year teaching and my 2nd year at Laurin. I hope you won’t hold it against me that I grew up in California. I went to college in Washington, though, at Walla Walla University and have my Masters in Teaching from Western Governors University. I have one wife, Sherilyn, and 3 kids, Madi (22), Levi (20), Ani (12), and one son-in-law, Edson! I love creating music, camping, paddle-boarding, hiking and mountain biking. I also love helping students figure out how to break down challenges into manageable chunks and get them done!

Bio: As most of you know, I serve as Laurin's wood shop teacher. In my 16 years in education I have had the privilege of teaching almost all subjects in middle school. My prior career was as a general contractor hence my move to my present assignment. In my spare time I coach middle school and high school wrestling and football. I have 10 children of my own keeping me happily busy in my spare time. I look forward to meeting all of you and have some fun creating things in unique ways using wood.

Bio: This is my 18th year teaching and my 8th at Laurin. I have taught ELA, history, and sometimes even math in America, Australia, Taiwan, and Peru. I love to travel and have been to all 7 continents and 62 countries. I believe my extensive travel experience helps me bring my history lessons alive. My undergraduate work is in journalism because I love to write and share that love with my students. I look forward to finding new and crazy ways to make learning fun this year. Please feel free to let me know if you have questions or need help. I’m always happy to help, and I look forward to meeting each of you.
