Bio: This is my ninth year teaching and second year at Laurin Middle School. I coach three sports at Prairie High School - cross country, basketball, and track. I grew up in Ridgefield (Go Spuds). I have spent the summer being a plant dad, collecting records, and spending as much time in a boat as possible.

Bio: I am so excited to start my second year here at Laurin Middle School. I obtained my teaching certification from the University of Idaho. This will be my 10th year teaching. I have taught 1st, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th grades throughout my teaching career. I have found that my favorite grades to teach are the middle school grades and I love teaching math! When I am not at school, I spend the majority of time with my family. I have 4 active boys and I work hard to keep up with them! I enjoy spending time outside, reading, and cooking! I am looking forward to a great school year!

Bio: After graduating from WSU Vancouver in 2012 (Go Cougs!) I began teaching 7th grade ELA and History at Laurin and have been here ever since. I LOVE my students; they make me laugh every day and are always teaching me something new. I enjoy traveling and camping with my daughter Courtney, son-in-law Cory, and son Tony. To relax,I spend time practicing yoga, hiking, gardening, and reading. I feel lucky to be a part of the Laurin family, and I’m looking forward to another exciting 7th grade year.

Bio: This is my 13th year teaching Science. Twelve of those years I have been at Amboy Middle School. This year I get the opportunity to join the 7th grade team at Laurin! I am excited to be here and meet lots of new students! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I added a Masters in Teaching degree to my list in 2008. Prior to teaching middle school, I worked at Oregon Health Sciences University, Vanalco, and Andersen Dairy in several laboratory related capacities. When I'm not teaching or blowing something up in the lab, I enjoy sewing, quilting, reading, and baking bread. My husband and I have 2 daughters, both of which are becoming teachers. I look forward to a great school year!

Bio: I love teaching at Laurin! This is my fifth year here and my third year teaching 7th grade. I've also taught 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grade, but 7th grade is a blast. I am a Boise State University graduate and competed on the speech & debate team for four years during college. In my final year of competition, my team and I won the Pi Kappa Delta National Championship. Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband Chris. We enjoy camping, backpacking, traveling, and playing Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons with our friends. I'm excited for another great year with the amazing people at Laurin Middle School!

Bio: This will be my 7th year at Laurin- all in 7th grade (I know the truth- 7th graders are the best!). I grew up in Battle Ground, went to WSUV, and have a background in photography, singing, theater, and creative writing. Outside of school, I am a mama to two little boys: Elliott (3.5 years old) and Noah (1.5 years old). My husband Nick and I also have a Golden Retriever (Scout), a parrot (Harper), four chickens, and a fish tank full of guppies. We enjoy fishing, camping, gardening, playing games with our friends and family, and being silly together (our sons' favorite!). I can’t wait to learn along with my students this year!
